I came across this Tik Tok video of an influencer who talked about how much she was making with her smallish following.
At the time she had around 2,200 fans on Instagram. Now, she has a little over 3,000 fans.
She has a presence on Instagram and Tik Tok. She might be on other platforms as well.
To hear her number….
The number she makes per month as a micro-influencer (technically a nano-influencer) blew me away.
It was $10,000 per month!
I knew small creators were making money but $10K per month?
And, here’s the proof:
Here’s how she does it..
I’ve talked about sponsorships before.
It’s easy to explain.
You have a brand and a creator.
Creators are a special breed. They have a unique relationship with their audience and they are influential. Brands want to appeal to their audience and they are willing to pay for it.
So, a sponsorship is formed.
A brand will sponsor a creator, paying them to talk about the brands products.
A single sponsorship can make you fifty bucks. It can make you $500 or $5,000 and up from there.
How much you make depends on so many factors like…
- The size of your audience
- Engagement rate
- And, other factors
If you’re a creator and trying to figure out how to price your influence, you can check out Social Bluebook, which is a tool that can help you figure out how much to charge brands.
Anyway, if you’re a small creator or a creator of any size, just know that making a nice living from your personal brand is totally possible.
