We’ve had quite the love/hate relationship over the past few years, haven’t we? Try as I might, I’m finding it really hard to preoccupy my time with other activities.
Listening to music on your little platform seems to be my #1 hobby.
In honor of all the time we’ve spent together (and all the time I’ve wasted), I decided to string together a list of underrated songs that I feel haven’t gotten enough recognition.
I figured since I’ll be stuck in my apartment for the next 3 and half hours, now is as good a time as any.
It’s not all that uncommon for two people to fall out of love with each other. I’m sure everyone reading this would agree.
What’s also not uncommon is the uncertainty you may feel about calling it quits with the person you once considered to be the love of your life.
When your friends start giving you their 2 cents and la di da about “plenty of fish in the sea” or “time heals all wounds”, It’s easy for it to go in one ear and out the other, if you’re in love with someone.
There’s much more to Jack Garratt than just his vocal ability alone. The guy is the epitome of an all-around, exceptional musician.
To have the ability to transition so effortlessly between the guitar, to the keys, to vocals… to him hitting the drum pad with the little drum stick thing all in one performance? That takes a special type of talent.
If you‘ve heard of the name Jack Garratt, then you’ve probably heard of the song I’ve included. It’s called Worry.
If you haven’t, well that’s kinda why I included this song in the first place.
By the way, peep the laugh around the 4-minute mark of the video. If that doesn’t make you smile a little on the inside, I don’t know what will.
Ahh, let’s sit back, relax and listen to the soothing sounds of The Internet.
If you’ve never heard of Shadow Dance, it’s amazing.
If you’ve never heard of The Internet, I recommend this song as your introduction.
If you’re wondering why The Internet is being capitalized, it’s because I’m not referring to the web, I’m referring to the band.
But the web is still pretty cool, too.
